Logistics

Shipping & Importing from China

The last step of sourcing: getting your goods home, cleared and costed.

The short answer

Logistics is the final step of sourcing: moving goods from the factory to your door and through customs. Decide sea vs air, understand who is responsible under your Incoterm, budget the full landed cost (not just freight), and usually use a freight forwarder to handle the moving parts.

FAQ

What is the cheapest way to ship from China?
By sea — a full container (FCL) is cheapest per unit for large loads, and LCL (shared container) suits smaller ones. Air is far faster but much more expensive; choose by weight, value and urgency.
